How many cardassians disappeared from cardassia prime
The Klingon fleet breaks through the Cardassian defenses and will reach Cardassia Prime in two days. Worf estimates that once there, the Klingons plan to kill all their government officials and replace them with an imperial overseer. Sisko gets in contact with Gul Dukat, who is now the chief military advisor of the civilian council ruling Cardassia.
Together they devise a plan for Dukat to evacuate the civilian council and rendezvous with Sisko to get them to safety before the Klingons can kill them. Sisko shares a last kiss with Kasidy before leaving on the Defiant. While Chief O'Brien finishes upgrading Deep Space Nine's weapons array, Sisko and the Defiant crew arrive at the rendezvous point to find Dukat's ship under attack by Klingon birds of prey. The Defiant rushes in to save Dukat's ship, and Sisko is forced to engage the Klingon vessels, thus formally opening hostilities with the Klingon Empire.
Aided by Worf's tactical expertise, Sisko is able to hold off the Klingon ships long enough to beam Dukat and the council members over to the Defiant and warp back to Deep Space Nine. However, the Defiant sustains heavy damage in the process, and its cloaking device becomes inoperable. Bashir runs blood scans on Dukat and the council members to make sure they are not Changelings. The Klingon vessels follow the Defiant, intending to pursue them all the way back to Deep Space Nine.
Once Sisko gets into communications range he informs Kira and O'Brien of the approaching Klingon warships and calls for battlestations aboard Deep Space Nine. Everyone on the station prepares for the Klingon attack.
The Defiant and the Klingon ships arrive at Deep Space Nine, and a large number of additional Klingon ships decloak just outside of the station. Martok demands that Sisko give up the Cardassian council members to him, but Sisko explains that the blood tests revealed that the Cardassians are not Changelings, and that the Klingons' suspicions were misplaced. However, Gowron is now convinced that a Klingon-controlled Cardassia will help to secure the Alpha Quadrant from the Dominion, even if it means risking war with the Federation.
The Klingon fleet begins an attack on Deep Space Nine and both sides exchange heavy fire. A number of Klingon ships are destroyed, but they manage to destroy several shield generators and send soldiers aboard to engage the crew in combat. Sisko and the operations crew manage to defeat some of the Klingons but many more remain on the station engaging the security forces.
Sisko pleads with Gowron and Martok to call off the attack, pointing out that fighting amongst themselves will make them easier targets for the Founders. Realizing that Sisko is right, Gowron decides to stand down. However, he warns that the Federation opposed the Klingon Empire in battle, and the Empire will not easily forgive them. Gowron and his fleet return to Qo'nos and repairs begin on Deep Space Nine. Worf prepares to leave Starfleet, but Sisko talks about his own absence from Starfleet after he lost his wife at Wolf He posits that neither he nor Worf can truly run away from their pain, and that while Starfleet is a reminder of his loss, it also has much to offer him.
This convinces Worf to take an assignment on Deep Space Nine as their new strategic operations officer. Chapter 1 — How many Romulans attempted to take over as emperor in ? Starbase The post The path to answers appeared first on STO site. I was contacted earlier today by a Ferrengi named Isihl. Having purchased the mineral rights on an asteroid field near Bajor, she discovered it is filled with Dilithium ore. After a little soul searching I have decided to try it out.
To be able to mine the Dilithium ore, you need an environmental suit. Of course Brol just happens to sell pre-owned suits for refined Dilithium. Need I say this is starting to look like a typical Ferrengi operation? The process of mining seems pretty simple, at least in theory. First thing you have to do is put on the environmental suit. The suit itself offers a few features that are helpful.
First it protects you from the vacuum of space. Secondly, it provides mobility via the built in reaction thrusters.
The thrusters can be used to jump to a navigation point up to 45 meters from your current position. This can be quite helpful when you have long distances to cover. The suit also acts like armor. It offers protection versus all energy type hazards, radiation hazards and toxic hazards. While bulky, the suit does not stop you from using weapons, or other tools even when activated which makes it ideal for working in asteroid fields.
The main thing to remember is that these suits are designed to protect you from the environment not move quickly. So take your time when using these suits. When accepting the mission you are allowed to prospect at 5 Dilithium sites. The sites are scattered all over the asteroid and only some of them are usable at any given point. You must line up your mining laser with the calibration points to successfully mine Dilithium ore. If you are out of alignment, you will not see the lasers being activated.
Once in alignment however, you will see the lasers converging on a single point in the middle of the targeting scanner. The ore is only found in small amounts so you will have to continually adjust your calibration.
After spending one minute mining, you can move on to the next site. Personally, I am not impressed. As with everything that involves a Ferrengi, this deal is too good to be true.
If you are a typical star ship captain, you will find the rewards to be feeble compared to the time and effort spent trying to achieve them. You are better off doing an exploration mission, shooting Borg, or practicing against other players as the rewards are higher and take less effort. While it is certainly possible to mine Dilithium ore in this manner, I would suggest seeking ore elsewhere. Once you have beamed down to the invasion zone, you are greeted by 4 different mission givers.
Each of the have several missions that they can offer you. As you have three hours to do the missions, you might have to be choosy about which ones to do. The mission givers are:. The captain is located in the middle of the beam down site. The missions provided are zonewide which means that you can accomplish them while anywhere in the zone. This is a simple point and shoot kind of mission, just kill any 50 Borg.
Remember to replicate a frequency remodulator as you will need it. The Borg adapt to your weapons quickly. You must go to different areas in the zone to plant unstable matrices.
